The speciality of this lettuce is that one cut is enough to separate the individual leaves.

Hydroponically Farmed Lettuce

Lettuce has a sweet taste and a soft texture, or a crisp frilly texture depending on the variety. Although lettuce can be grown in fields, at DGM, our lettuce is vertically farmed in columns and fed with nutrient rich water in our greenhouse. This means that the plants can directly absorb nutrients, allowing for faster growth rates and an increased yield. We ensure our lettuce heads are of a consistent size as this is highly important to us.

Lettuce has a high nutrition value and contains calcium, fibre, and iron. The red leaf varieties also offer antioxidant benefits.
