We’ve always marketed vegetables grown by our brilliant British farmers and in 2010 we decided to expand our growing operations from our forced chicory, to field grown vegetables, making the most of the land on and around our site on the fertile soil of Lincolnshire.

During the somewhat temperamental British season we grown courgettes, fennel and chard in abundance, amongst other speciality products such as our unique and delicious zephyr courgettes.

The climate is an important factor in farming and we have taken many steps over the years to reduce our carbon footprint, from investing in the latest and most efficient farm machinery, to using biodegradable plastic to protect our courgette seedlings, which removed 2,600kg of plastic the first year alone.
